Cypress Island Homebuilders was formed in 2017 by Rodney Gage as a home foundation and house framing enterprise.  Before creating his company, Rodney followed in the family’s tradition of doing home foundations, framing and masonry.  Although Rodney enjoyed a career in the oilfield, his love for creating never left as he continued to work in the family tradition during his off  time throughout the years.

As time went on, Rodney was encouraged to consider entering the homebuilding market.  Subsequently, he immersed himself in working with all of the latest technology and building methods that go into the homebuilding process.  This technology would enable the company to better serve customers—from pinpoint material and cost estimating to job site managing.
